I've never played croquet, but when I've seen it played it's always seemed like the people playing took it pretty seriously. So is beach croquet just as serious, or is it more like the attitude difference between golf and frisbee golf?

This outing was a practice round for a more serious game to come later. I imagine most games start out as carefree as Frisbee golf and get as serious as the Masters when the competition heats up.
