The Gaussian blur filter in Photoshop can add a soft glow to skin, and hide wrinkles and age spots. I went thru a gaussian phase on landscapes a while back. I found this link rather funny.

It's been bugging me all day who Gaussian Fred looks like, and I just now realized the answer: Odo from Deep Space Nine.
Incidentally, I could see Odo being more of a Rudy Giuliani fan, but he'd probably support Thompson, too.
