See Rock City

incline1939.jpg

I'll be posting some scenes from the tip of Lookout Mountain overlooking Chattanooga this week. These views are from the Incline Railway observation deck, one of the nation's oldest tourist traps. In the pic below can you spot the See Rock City birdhouse?

DSK:

I still haven't been on the Incline since I moved. I think I was about 13 the last time I was on it. I keep meaning to take my family on it, but it never quite fits into the schedule when we go to Lookout Mountain.

I went there once. Let me know if the gnomes are still on duty :)

I've been there! Not the Incline, those things scare
me but Lookout Mountain, Rocky City (bought my mom a
birdhouse) and Ruby Falls.
