Willkommen!

Congrats to my old hometown Chattanooga for landing a new VW plant with 2000 real jobs, plus probably that number again in ancillary jobs. In a time when things look bleak in most places Chattanooga will be doing just fine.

Last week, I was telling a non-local friend about how the paper is running a new piece about VW every single day. I had to convince him that I wasn't exagerating. But it definitely is a Big Deal and worthy of public high-fiving-via-signs.
